This Privacy Policy explains how EvictServe ("we," "us," "our," or "the Service") collects, uses, retains, and protects your personal information. EvictServe is operated by FormRoute LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

EvictServe is a self-service notice template and USPS Certified Mail platform. We are not a law firm, do not practice law, and do not provide legal advice. You select a template, enter your own information, and we handle printing and certified mailing on your behalf.

This policy applies to information collected through our website, order forms, and email communications related to our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information You Provide Directly

When you use EvictServe to create and send an eviction notice, we collect:

• Your Information: Name, email address, phone number (optional), and company or LLC name
• Property Information: Property address (full address including city and ZIP code)
• Tenant Information: Tenant's first and last name, and any additional details you enter (lease violations, amount owed, etc.)
• Notice Details: The notice type you select, state, and any custom text you add

Payment Information

Payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or full payment card data. Stripe handles all payment processing and encryption. We only retain a record that a payment was made (transaction ID, amount, and date).

Email & Communication

We automatically collect your email address when you place an order. We use it to send your order confirmation, PDF copy of your notice, tracking information, and any service-related updates.

Automatic Information

When you visit our website, we may collect limited technical information:

• IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent
• Referral source

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

• To Generate Your Notice: Your information is used to populate the eviction notice template you selected, creating a document customized for your situation.
• To Print & Mail via USPS Certified Mail: We provide your notice and property/tenant information to Lob.com (our printing and mailing partner) to print and mail your notice via USPS Certified Mail.
• To Send Confirmations & Tracking Information: We use SendGrid (our email service provider) to send you order confirmations, your PDF copy, USPS tracking numbers, and delivery notifications.
• To Process Payments: Your payment information is processed through Stripe to charge the order fee to your card.
• To Manage Orders: We store order details in Airtable for order management, status tracking, and customer support.
• For Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or government request, we may disclose information to comply with legal obligations.
• To Prevent Fraud & Abuse: We may use IP address and other technical data to prevent fraudulent orders, spam, or abuse of our service.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate EvictServe. Each processes your information according to its own privacy policy:

Stripe (Payment Processing)

Stripe processes all credit card payments. Stripe does not share your full card data with us. We only see the last four digits and transaction confirmation. For details, see Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Lob.com (Printing & Mailing)

Lob.com handles printing and USPS Certified Mail delivery. We send them your notice content, property address, and tenant information. Lob.com acts as a mail processor under USPS regulations. For details, see Lob.com's Privacy Policy.

SendGrid (Email Service)

SendGrid sends order confirmations, PDFs, tracking numbers, and other service emails on our behalf. For details, see Twilio/SendGrid's Privacy Policy.

Airtable (Order Management)

We store order information in Airtable for order tracking, customer support, and internal management. For details, see Airtable's Privacy Policy.

Important: While these third parties are bound by confidentiality agreements with us, each processes your data according to its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their data practices beyond what our agreements require.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill our service obligations:

• Order Data (Name, Address, Tenant Info): Retained for 90 days after order completion, then deleted. This allows time for you to access order details and proof of mailing.
• PDF Copies: Retained for 30 days in our email service, then deleted (you should download and save your copy for your records).
• Payment Records: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance (as required by law).
• Email Address: May be retained longer if you opt in to our newsletter or contact list (you can unsubscribe anytime).

After the retention period, we securely delete or anonymize your information. Lob.com and SendGrid may also retain data according to their own retention policies.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption in Transit: All data sent between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security, the same protocol used by banks).
• Encryption at Rest: Stored information is encrypted in our database.
• Access Controls: Only authorized team members can access customer data, and only for legitimate business purposes.
• Secure Payments: All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

However, no security system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. Use of EvictServe is at your own risk. Do not send payment card details or sensitive financial information via email.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal cookies and analytics on EvictServe:

• Essential Session Cookies: These cookies allow you to navigate our site and remember your place in the order form. They expire when you close your browser or after 24 hours.
• Google Analytics 4: We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled to understand aggregate site traffic (page views, referral sources, general geographic region). We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual users, build advertising profiles, or serve ads. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use: Advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party ad networks. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

You can disable cookies or opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Disabling cookies may limit some site functionality.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

Request Data Deletion

You can request that we delete your personal information. Email support@evictserve.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and provide:

• Your name and email address
• The order or email address associated with your account

We will delete your information within 30 days, except where required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes (e.g., tax records).

Request a Copy of Your Data

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you. Email support@evictserve.com with the subject "Data Access Request" and your order email. We will provide your information within 15 business days.

Opt Out of Communications

All service emails (confirmations, tracking) are necessary for order fulfillment. However, if you opt in to our newsletter or promotional emails, you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

9. California Residents — CCPA / CPRA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to Know: You may request a list of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, and the business purpose for collecting it.
• Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as records required for tax or accounting compliance).
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

To submit a CCPA/CPRA request, email support@evictserve.com with the subject line "CCPA Request" and include your name and email address associated with your order. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

Categories of information collected (as defined under CCPA): Identifiers (name, email), commercial information (order details, payment records), internet activity (page views via Google Analytics with IP anonymization), and professional information (company or LLC name, if provided). We disclose personal information to service providers (Stripe, our printing and mailing vendor, SendGrid, Airtable) solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not sell personal information.

10. Children's Privacy

EvictServe is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. 11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if required, by sending you an email notification.

Your continued use of EvictServe after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
